Our travel arrangments are a bit different this year. We are staying overnight at an airport hotel which will enable us to conveniently catch the 6.20am Ryanair flight tomorrow morning to Pau. The SAS Radisson Hotel is a pleasant surprise, clean modern and well-run. The young lady behind the bar who is hoisted up in a trapeze to fetch wine bottles from a giant rack is an exotic if not entirely PC feature. We had the Spanish option for supper which was fine and then to bed by 9.30 for an early start.
